Club Profile

Recently, Valley 7s was created to give rugby players in the South East of England to opportunity to play 7s. With the majority of 7s clubs coming from London and surrounding areas the South East is without an Invitational Elite team. This team was also set up to support a charity that is close the heart of Valley 7’s, the Downs Syndrome Association. This is because one of our players is the father of a young man called Daniel who has Down’s syndrome he is 3 and his father is 24 which is a rare occurrence for someone so young having a child with the condition. There isn’t enough exposure for the DSA and we fight to Change Perspectives of this condition. We also want to show as many people we can the hard work the organisation does to help those who have the condition run as normal lives as possible, by trying to get them into work, gain higher qualifications and lead relatively independent lives. For this we will be donating a chunk of our winnings we collect from any cash prize tournaments.
